Bui Xuan Hai - Of Counsel

Dr. Bui Xuan Hai is an Of Counsel of LuatViet and an expert in business and commercial law areas. He has worked as a licensed lawyer since 1995 and used to be the Managing Lawyer of VietHai Law Office. Since 1994, Dr. Hai has been teaching law in some institutions including law schools in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City. He is now the Dean of the Commercial Law Faculty of the HCMC University of Law. Dr Hai has acted as an advisor for many multinational companies doing business in Vietnam and also presented papers at some international conferences at Australian universities and has a number of peer-reviewed articles published in law journals in Vietnam, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Dr. Hai’s pratice area is commercial, contract, corporate, investment and real estate.

He received the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Ha Noi Law University in 1994 and the Master of Laws (LL.M) from HCMC University of Law in 2000. In 2007 he obtained the PhD in Law at La Trobe University (Australia), with a major in Business Law & Arbitration.
